I walked just over half of the Pfälzer Weinsteig from Bockenheim an der Weinstraße to Sankt Martin (just south of Neustadt) in 2025, before I was called back to Amsterdam. I absolutely love hiking in the Pfälz, and plan to return in 2026 to complete the trail. If all goes to plan, I might visit the area with my family in autumn, and perhaps plan in some wine harvest festivals.
