Personal Notes

I did not read the description of the Trage Tocht Amstelveen Middelpolder. As A result, when I walked the route on 12/6, the middle section was closed. I'll need to pay more attention to this in the future. I recently walked the Kalfjeslaan when walking the Groene Wissel 254 Amsterdam-Zuid. There is a main cycle path, but also a less-busy walking path running parallel about 40m to the north. Take that one. I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised by the landscapes when heading south. At the very bottom I encountered the signs showing the track was closed. As you see from the map, I went everywhere looking to reconnect. Eventually I went out to the Amstel and followed this all the way to the Rembrandt windmill. It is a little further than the official route but worth it. From here it is a straight line westwards over the same path to the tram station.
