The 6 km Parkboswandeling is walking path number 2 in the Amsterdam Forest. The loop-walk passes through forest and climbs the Grote Huevel (Big Hill).

A walk from the Visitor Centre and carpark, past the Klimpark (Climbing park) and Dachau Monument before reaching the Grote Vijver (Large Pond) and then proceeding southwards to the Grote Heuvel (Big Hill) and finally heading back toward the Information Centre. Great for kids. Part of the Amsterdam Forest walks.

Personal Notes

Another handy walk for a 1-2 hour break from Amsterdam. Starting at the Information Centre, it passes the Tree Climbing area before reaching the Dachau Monument. It's then a pleasant walk eastwards before you reach the Grote Vijver (Big Pond). You pass a cafe before walking through forest and then climbing the Grote Heuvel (Big Hill). This hill can be fun to sled down if it snows. The walking track then makes its way through forest and passed a children's swimming pool before returning to the start.
