DeWandelRoutes

DeWandelRoutes are a network of section-hikes that connect campsites around Amsterdam. These can be connected to create multi-day through-hikes staying at campsites. Child-friendly, these routes are designed to get in touch with nature and experience 'getting back to basics' - carrying everything you need and being self-sufficient for a few days.

The DeWandelRoute through-hike is designed as a challenge for children. Shorter section-hikes can be used as practice.

This map shows most of the tracks that have been walked in developing the DeWandeRoute network. Exploration is being done to extend these further! Click on an icon for more information.
